Inspired by political events and opinion polarization within the last years in Brazil, Interesse Público is proposal for a search engine that presents a diverse range of articles from reliable information sources with the same visual format - giving you the power to reflect & make your own opinion about a certain topic.

A proof of concept prototype was built in order to integrate the back-end development with the UX flow to allow users' curiosity to guide them when interacting with the content. Most of brazilian media outlets don't have public APIs, so I used BeautifulSoup python library to web scrape data from built-in search engines in these different media outlets and to dynamically update the temporary database.
