ha-mazan is a prototype for a smart signaling system for female bike commuters in the urban space. The elbow patches have fringes with fiber optics, which are attached to a super bright LED that lights up and intensifies it brightness according to daylight. You can activate the fringes to sweep if the biker is turning left or right, making bike commuting a safer one through awareness.

In a next step of this project there would be data tracking analysis, so that the system itself can try to find patterns on how you behave and it can activate the “turn left/right” signal, anticipating and making the bike commuting experience even more seamless.
